Podcasting - I found some great info on Podcast alley on how to download and save a youtube video for playback on an iPod or iPhone.

This would be helpful for teachers who may not want to go to YouTube to show the clip they found for class. Instead they can save it and embed it in their PowerPoint instead.
I also subscribed to a podcast on iTunes called scam school. I learned a few card tricks that I can use at the next party I attend....

Another video I made on a flipcamera. This is from the Madonna concert at the Pepsi Center in November 2008.

PANDORA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! It's too bad I learned about Pandora the week before school started. I enjoyed one week of blissful streaming specialized radio programming before IT shut it down. You can give Pandora a favorite song, group or genre and it will play music like it. You can skip a song if you don't like it and you can save "stations" too. VERY COOL!

Thing #18
I created an account on zoho and wrote a paragraph. The program found an error and closed on me as I was trying to save. it took a long time to load when I tried to access it. The file name did not save and the document is gone. Maybe just a glitch and not zoho related.
What I had said in the doc was that these online docs might be the way to go for a district with such inconsistent email service. However, my experience here w/ zoho would cause frustration for kids too. A total loss of work trumps email being down.
Drum roll..... It finally appeared w/ out the save working!!!
Thing #18 I am creating a doc on Zoho.com. Interface is similar enough. Less bells and whistles than Office, but not a bad thing. Since the email at work is currently down and kids are not able to send their work home, an online doc like this may be the answer.
